MOORGATE MEDICAL CENTRE

Moorgate Medical Centre, a £10 million primary care centre in Bury, has been officially opened on schedule.

S R Waite carried out mains distribution, containment, lighting, emergency lighting and small power installation packages throughout and were complimented on delivering the project within agreed timescales.

The principle contractor was Miller Construction and the S R Waite electrical project value was £200K.

CARMEL COLLEGE

This £18.6m project in St Helens, created three new college buildings on an existing working campus. S R Waite carried out the full electrical installations to all three buildings over a two and rolling programme and were complimented on completing the works within agreed timescales.

The Principle Contactor was Kier North West and the S R Waite electrical project Value £450K.

BOLTON MARKET HALL REFURBISHMENT

The Market Hall, a Grade II listed structure with an ornate cast-iron & glazed roof, has had a major refurbishment.

S R Waite carried out mains distribution, containment, lighting, emergency lighting and small power installations to the refurbished ground and first floor areas and completed the project within agreed timescales.

The principle contractor was Miller Construction and the S R Waite electrical project value was £300K.

PRESTON COLLEGE, FULWOOD CAMPUS

S R Waite has completed electrical installation works at Preston College's Fulwood Campas in Lancashire. Construction works included a state-of-the-art reception block, the new location for Preston College’s Visual and Performing Arts Students.
The electrical work was scheduled during the college term time and was phased and timed in conjunction with the current curriculum to minimise disruption to students.

BLACKBURN COLLEGE

S R Waite has finished the full electrical installation on behalf of Lorne Stewart Building Services, who constructed approximately 8,000m2 of new build. The building accommodates specialist teaching space for the College's Healthcare, Childcare and Creative Arts education provision as well as support space, namely Main Reception, Student Services/Support, Learning Resource Centre, Registry and common space.

LANCASTER UIVERSITY

S R Waite has completed the electrical installation works associated with the refurbishment of the university’s four-storey Furness Building to provide improved accommodation for Furness College and the four divisions of the School of Health and Medicine.

Work included replacement of all cable management and wiring systems including the upgrade of all switchgear and lighting systems.

BRADFORD ACADEMY

S. R. Waite were the major electrical contractor for a £4.3m extension to Bradford Academy in Yorkshire. Work is now completed on the 2,500sq m two-storey building which will house 420 primary age pupils at the Academy.
