New Project Win- Airport City, Manchester

S R Waite Group are delighted to announce we have been successful in securing the electrical installation sub contract for the new offices which form part of Amazons giant new warehouse and distribution facility at Manchester Airport.

1,500 new local jobs are set to be created by the arrival of Amazon in Manchester, and we are delighted to have been awarded yet another prestigious project in the North West.

“Manchester Airport’s network of flights to destinations around the globe is one of the key things that makes Airport City attractive to businesses looking to relocate or set up new bases in the UK.

“The arrival of Amazon provides clear evidence of that and also gives Amazon close access to both their supply chain and the 22 million potential customers within a two-hour drive of Manchester Airport.

S R Waite Director Stuart Barry and his site team will be commencing installations on Monday 9th May 2016.

Latest News- New Project GMFRS- Bury

SR Waite Group

We are delighted to have secured and commenced the full electrical installation contract at Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service’s (GMFRS) multi-million pound development in Wellington Street, Bury.

The new centre will allow fire-fighters to train for every possible incident, including: transport incidents such as tram and train derailments and road collisions; water rescues; incidents involving hazard materials; search and rescue; collapsed buildings; and high-rise building fires.

A large warehouse will be transformed into a community hub, featuring an interactive area for people to visit and learn about fire safety.

Chairman of Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Authority, councillor David Acton, said: “It’s taken us years to get to where we are today – from the idea of having a world-class training facility in Bury to the cutting of the first sod.

“The exciting development will allow firefighters from Greater Manchester – and potentially beyond – to train in the most modern and realistic conditions.

“This will help us to ensure that as we continue to reduce the number of fires and incidents we attend through our successful prevention work, we support our firefighters and officers to maintain their skills and experience of dealing with real fires.

“The centre will also provide a fantastic facility for the community where young people inparticular can learn how to protect themselves from fire and other dangers in an exciting and memorable way while gaining an insight into the varied work of GMFRS.”

Commenting on this news Group Managing Director Andy Mazey said:

“We are delighted to have been successful with our bid and appointed as electrical contractor on this project. We recognise its importance and value to the community of Bury and indeed the Greater Manchester region. We look forward to delivering yet another prestigious contract on time and within budget”.

Leigh East ARLFC | SRW Group

S R Waite group extend community club support in association with William James Recruitment.

As the National Conference League Division Two season got under way on Saturday 12th March 2016, Leigh East first team carried out its pre game warm up in new warm up shirts sporting the William James Recruitment and S R Waite Group logos.

Speaking on behalf of the Group Board Andy Mazey said:

“We are proud as a business to support many sports and education based organisations and projects, not only in the town we operate from but right across the north west region. To be associated with people who are passionate about the development of young people in general gives us great satisfaction. We are always happy to support Leigh East and are already proud to have our corporate branding on all the 2016 open age polo shirts so its great in addition to see the logo on such a great looking warm up top.

Having known Paul for a long time its a pleasure to be associated with him and his fellow coaches at the club and of course a fantastic group of players and people.  In my opinion Paul has transformed the culture at open age level during his tenure and its worth noting the extremely low average age of his team selection on Saturday, as well as the fact that fifteen of the eighteen players on duty have come through the ranks at the club. These statistics combined with the overall numbers he and his coaching team have attracted across first, second and masters levels bare testament to that.

On behalf of S R Waite Id like to thank Paul for this opportunity to further extend our support and we wish the team all the best for the season ahead.”

Paul is also Managing Director of Manchester based legal recruitment specialists William James Recruitment Ltd.

SRW GROUP INTRODUCE A SPECIALIST ESOS ACTION SUPPORT TEAM TO THE MARKET.

ESOS_Logo

ESOS (Energy Savings Opportunity Scheme) : A marathon not a sprint.

An ESOS audit provides a valuable dossier with which companies can weed out inefficiencies and reap all kinds of benefits.

Companies must think of these findings as a valuable dossier that will help them achieve market competitiveness, business longevity and, of course, those all-important bottom line savings.

The Carbon Trust reports that large businesses have the ability to save 15% on energy bills through increased efficiency and it is ‘not uncommon’ to see this figure rise by up to 25%.

Taking no action after an audit seems like a wasted opportunity.

The SRW Group’s growth has been achieved by consistently developing, efficient, sustainable lighting and electrical installations solutions that are specifically designed by our in house engineers to produce an outcome for clients and which are not driven by manufacturers, suppliers or ‘’ the latest trends’’.

The recent successful investment and expansion of the SRW Group has allowed us to further invest in providing the resource to offer impartial advice and guidance for companies executing an ESOS action plan.

Contact us and turn your ESOS audit into an opportunity for your business TODAY.

17-12-15

Following on from the recent addition of Anderson & Maloney Ltd to the S R Waite Group, we are delighted to announce that Tony Winstanley has now taken up the position of Operations Manager.

Tony had been working closely with outgoing managing director Ray Anderson for a number of months to familiarise himself with the client base. He will now be responsible for the day to day operation of Anderson & Maloney and be reporting directly to the group board.

Having been with S R Waite since 2003 as an electrician and in recent years a site manager, Tony has gained over 20 years’ experience of the electrical industry and a vast wealth of knowledge of all aspects of installation, maintenance and testing, and is looking forward to his new role.

Group Managing Director Andy Mazey commented:

“Tony was identified by our directors as the outstanding candidate for this new role. It is a strategic move and needed to be carefully considered. We also believe it serves to further demonstrate that not only are we focused on the continued development of the group as a whole, but that we believe in the continued development of our people and offer opportunities to progress within the growing group structure. Tony has been with S R Waite since 2003 and understands our customer focused approach to day to day business and it is a great opportunity for him”.
