SRW GROUP INTRODUCE A SPECIALIST ESOS ACTION SUPPORT TEAM TO THE MARKET.

ESOS (Energy Savings Opportunity Scheme) : A marathon not a sprint.

An ESOS audit provides a valuable dossier with which companies can weed out inefficiencies and reap all kinds of benefits.

Companies must think of these findings as a valuable dossier that will help them achieve market competitiveness, business longevity and, of course, those all-important bottom line savings.

The Carbon Trust reports that large businesses have the ability to save 15% on energy bills through increased efficiency and it is ‘not uncommon’ to see this figure rise by up to 25%.

Taking no action after an audit seems like a wasted opportunity.

The SRW Group’s growth has been achieved by consistently developing, efficient, sustainable lighting and electrical installations solutions that are specifically designed by our in house engineers to produce an outcome for clients and which are not driven by manufacturers, suppliers or ‘’ the latest trends’’.

The recent successful investment and expansion of the SRW Group has allowed us to further invest in providing the resource to offer impartial advice and guidance for companies executing an ESOS action plan.

“Following six months of negotiations with a valuation and deal being finalised, I’m delighted that the acquisition is now in its final stages. Having worked overtime on this deal personally with the vision of adding a third profitable and sucessful business to our group I’m absolutely delighted we are now in the closing stages of this process.

For the last six weeks we’ve had one of our team working closely on a daily basis with the outgoing Managing Director and we officially take control of the business which has traded sucessfully since 1998 on December 12th.

This takeover and significant cash investment we have made to facilitate the acquisition should further demonstrate that we remain focussed and committed to developing and growing the three individual companies within the group and ofcourse the group as a whole. I’m delighted to be bringing further employment and opportunities to the community where i live and which we operate”

Westleigh High School Careers Fair

On Friday 27th November 2015 we attended a careers day to give local young people an opportunity to experience and understand the wide range of career options open to them.

This was an invaluable opportunity for young people to be motivated and inspired by the wide range of career options available to them and we were proud to be involved.

As a Group we believe that Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is the continuing commitment by our business to behave ethically and to contribute to economic development while improving the quality of life of the local community, our workforce and their families and society at large.

We have worked hard at identifying our core values and we recognise that we have a role to play in ensuring not only the economic but also the wider environmental and social well-being of the communities where we work.

Legionella Risk Assessments In Student Accommodation

The recent changes to Legionella legislation has moved several of the large student accommodation providers in the student hotspots of Manchester, Liverpool and Sheffield to reconsider the qualifications and level of experience of their Legionella risk assessment providers.

This in turn has seen a significant upturn in the BSFM workload, providing friendly , realistic, competent and reliable Legionella risk assessment advice to the Student, Residential, and Commercial lettings industry.

Remember:-
”It is important for landlords and managing agents to consider an assessors qualifications, also their level of experience in the industry. The assessor should not only have the practical and theoretical knowledge to conduct the assessment, but also a history of undertaking on-site inspections and generating a compliant report.”

Commitment to Apprenticeships

Commitment to Apprenticeships | S R Waite Group

S R Waite Group considers training to be an essential and integral part of our long-term strategy, of which apprentice training is probably the highest priority.  We have consistently demonstrated our commitment by employing 1 / 2 new apprentices each year over a 10-15 year period. Most of which are sourced from schools in the Leigh / North West Area.  Apprentice training is carried out jointly by ourselves and the local colleges and having had a long standing relationship with Wigan & Leigh we have recently joined up with Manchester college to enrol the latest of our electrical division apprentices.

CHAS Accreditation

We are delighted to announce that we have successfully navigated the qualification process and once again been granted CHAS Accreditation for the next 12 months.

We find each annual qualification process extremely helpful as it raises our awareness to issues we need to address or shortfalls that require implementing.  These items are discussed in management meetings between Operations Staff, Contracts Managers and Directors and the topics of discussion are raised and implemented within the Company.

We feel the CHAS recognition is widely acknowledged across the construction industry and is a must for any reputable contractor.
